Louisiana based Fundraising & Marketing Company

Emily Benedetto
(CEO)

Growing up as an Italian-American, I am expected to adhere to three main things: never miss a Christmas Eve gathering, tasks done without prompting, and refusing to work at the family business was never an option. Over the years, these expectations molded my character. They have taught me the importance of a good work ethic and strong leadership, along with driving my desire to become an entrepreneur.

Always knowing I would own my own business, it was only a matter of time until I finally decided what that would look like exactly. Originally in pursuit of having my own practice as a family physician, I received my undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana State University. After graduating in 2020, I continued to broaden my professional horizons through Silver Lining Marketing. Through this experience, I have learned the value of learning from others and how I can lead others toward success through being an entrepreneur while helping my direct community in New Orleans. Evolving in this business has taught me more than I could ever have imagined and it challenges me every day to push beyond my own boundaries. I am incredibly excited to expand and continue to positively influence my community!

Destiny Hensley

Destiny Hensley
(Director of Operations)

My name is Destiny Hensley and I moved to Louisiana from Alabama in 2019. My background is nothing fancy or flashy, having primarily been in the food industry my opportunity to help my community was fairly limited. Which is one of the reasons why I decided to start working with Silver Lining. I’ve really enjoyed my time here being part of a team that is so motivated to help others. I can’t wait to help all of our future executive managers get their offices set up and support them and their team.

Angelle Rose Falcon
(Office Administrator)

Hi, I’m Angelle Rose Falcon — a dynamic, purpose-driven middle child with a rich background in hospitality, retail and now nonprofit marketing. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and connection. As a lifelong learner with a passion for languages and cultures, I’m currently studying Digital Multimedia Design and Korean, all while dreaming up fantasy worlds for my debut novel. When I’m not writing or creating, you’ll find me exploring new cities, sipping something local, and soaking up inspiration from every corner of the globe. I believe in beauty, growth, and living with intention — one step, sip, or story at a time. Cheers!
Quinn Triggs

Quinn Triggs
(Team Leader)

My name is Quinn Triggs Jr, born and raised in Marrero, La. My work ethic truly defines who i am. I grew up playing football and that became my first love with that, i’ve learned discipline, determination, and overcoming adversity were my strongest points. My family is most important to me growing up in a 3 bedroom household with 10 people. I’ve always aspired to be the best at what i do, which is why i work so hard. Silver Lining Marketing was not only a fresh start for me but an even greater opportunity to blossom into the great businessman that i aspire to be. My goal is to be an inspiration to the people that feel like they aren’t capable of beating the odds. All my life i’ve been doubted, which is why i’m well known for proving all of my doubters wrong. If i can do it, then so can you!

Marvin Canales

My name is Marvin Canales. I was born in Oakland, California, but I was raised in Oxford, Mississippi. I am of Honduran descent. I’ve been an artist since I was a kid, art was the only thing that could drift my mind toward a path of peace.

Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to become. While other kids quickly chose to be police officers, firefighters, or doctors, I just wanted to do something that would make me happy. Art was an option, but I didn’t believe it could help me reach the long-term goals I had in mind.

As I grew older, my perspective changed rapidly. All I knew was that I wanted to be my own boss. I dreamed of owning my own business—or even multiple businesses. My goal has always been to achieve freedom: freedom from limitations, and the ability to provide everything and more for my family. I want to travel the world and help others. If I achieve that, I believe I will have found my purpose for living, and eventually, for dying with a smile on my face.

Because of that dream, I pursued college and majored in Business Administration and Marketing. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree. I became the first in my family to graduate from college. Afterward, I spent a year searching for opportunities in various business-related roles in my hometown and in Memphis, but I had no luck.

Working alongside my dad in his business was great, but I knew I needed to make a name for myself, too. I felt it was time to move out and grow in every aspect. Even though it hurt to leave my family, I knew I had to take risks to reach my goals.

New Orleans had always caught my eye. When I turned 22, I visited for a weekend with friends, and while I was there, I thought to myself: “It would be nice to live here.” My ultimate goal is to end up in New York City, but I knew, I couldn’t afford to live there comfortably. So, I gave New Orleans a shot. I told myself, “If I get accepted to any job here, that’s a sign to take the risk and move.”

I applied to various jobs, particularly in sales, but honestly, none of them interested me except one: Silver Lining Marketing. When Destiny and Mrs. Emily interviewed me, the experience felt different. I realized the role involved marketing for charity, which deeply connected to my long-term dream of helping people in need across the world.

I took the risk and moved a month later. I had my orientation on May 12th, and after my first week, I was fortunate enough to get promoted into leadership! It’s been great ever since, and I’m pursuing with passion the opportunity to soon become a charity manager.

Ranjit Dhaliwal

Hi! I’m Ranjit Dhaliwal, but 99% of the population calls me Ray. I graduated from JSU with a degree in finance. My professional experience includes time in corporate America as a banker, where I enjoyed my time and the memories gained, but I ultimately came to the conclusion I wanted more control over my growth and future.

Growing up as the eldest of 3, I was often put in a position of responsibility over helping raise my brothers. That was due to my parents being entrepreneurs themselves, and where working 15 hours a day was a regular occurrence. Little did I know at the time, but having that responsibility and also seeing that type of work ethic molded my character to be what I am today. I’m a person with big aspirations, and also a firm believer in anything being attainable if a person puts forth the required efforts. Ultimately, I want to retire my wife and my mother, and provide for them beyond their wildest dreams.

Joycelyn Fruge

Hello everyone! My name is Joycelyn Fruge, a lifelong resident of Louisiana. Like many others, I started working in high school and developed a very strong work ethic at a young age. In my first job, I worked my way from the ground up to the management role in the restaurant industry. I was in the management role for over 3 years, which taught me ownership and communication skills. I quickly outgrew my role and ventured out to pursue a more meaningful career. This strive for a purpose led me to Silver Lining Marketing. As a team lead here, I have the opportunity to sharpen these skills and build a career in an industry helping our charities expand.
